Fabio Vescini (d.o.b. 02.06.1967) is Staff Physician at the University Hospital S. Maria della Misericordia Udine – Unit of Endocrinology and Metabolism. He had post-graduate studies in Bone Metabolism and in Nephrological Sciences and he was director of Private Centres for Metabolic Bone Diseases and Endocrinology / Treviso / San Donà di Piave (Venice). He had many research and assistance grants. He received a Medicine and Surgery Degree from the University of Bologna – Italy (1995, final grades 110/110) and a Postgraduate Degree in Endocrinology and Metabolism from the University of Bologna – Italy (2001, final grades 70/70 cum laude). In 2005 he received a PhD in Nephrological Sciences from the University of Bologna – Italy and between 2004-2007 he participated in Research grants for the study of Mineral Metabolism Diseases from the University of Bologna – Italy. He is regularly invited in national and international congress as lecturer and/or teacher. Fabio Vescini is author of 90 papers printed on national or international journals, member of the national governing council of the Italian Society of Bone and Mineral metabolism (SIOMMMS), member of the regional governing council of the Italian Endocrinologists Association (AME) and president of the “Italian North-east” Osteoporosis Association (ANEOP).
