Mariana Purice, PhD is senior researcher at the Laboratory of Nuclear Medicine, National Institute of Endocrinology, Bucharest, Romania. She graduated Physics at University of Bucharest, had a master in Biophysics; University of Bucharest and PhD in Physics, University of Bucharest.
She is enthusiastic and dedicated professional with extensive experience across bio-medical field research. A good leader who is able to develop and motivate others to achieve targets, demonstrate a strong ability to manage scientific projects from conception through to successful completion. Her expertise domains are nuclear medicine (in VIVO- imagistic and in VITRO - radioimmunoassay), clinical laboratory (immunology, tumor markers). Research fields are thyroid cancer, neuroendocrinology, stress research, modeling and data base management, clinical trials; she was ccoordinator for 5 National Research Projects.
She actively participated at post graduated courses organised by OBBSCC for clinical laboratory methods applied in endocrinology, trainings for IVD products; she is coordinator of experimental designs for master or PhD thesis for students in biophysics, biology and medicine (University of Bucharest, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest).
