Competitors must register at the Tournament office at Theodora Golf Club no later than 18:00 on Tuesday, 24 May.

Flights for tournament days will be posted at the Starter the evening before the tournament, latest 20h00.

25 May –Tournament’s Eve 

Starting 16.00 pm – Players arrival and check in (at Theodora ‘s Golf Club Reception Desk)

Starting 19.30 pm – Welcome cocktail @GolfGrillPavilion. During the reception, starting times for the first round will be announced.

 

26 May  –  1^st Tournament Day

Starting 8:30 until 17:30 – 1^st round – 18 holes Strokeplay

 

27 May  – 2nd Tournament Day

Starting 8:30 until 17:30 – 2^nd round – 18 holes Strokeplay

 

28 May  – 3^rd  Tournament Day

Starting 8:30 until 17:30  - final round – 18 holes Strokeplay

Tournament Format and HCP information

 

The format will be stroke play for all championship divisions and net stableford for plate divisions over three rounds of 18 holes.

The maximum HCP allowance for the tournament will be 28.

 

HCP limit for the Divisions as follows:

Championship Divisions (Gross Strokeplay):  Men / Ladies / Mid-AM / Seniors / Legends / Juniors Championship: 0-9

Gold Plate (Men): HCP 9.1 – 18

Silver Plate (Men) HCP 18.1- 28

Ladies Plate: HCP 9.1 – 28

Senior Plate: HCP 9.1 – 28

Junior Plate: HCP 9.1 – 28

Legends Plate: HCP 9.1 – 28

Mid-AM Plate: HCP 9.1 – 28

Competition conditions

 

1. Competitor must be an amateur as defined by the current Rules of Amateur Status.
2. HCP limit for the Championship: Men / Ladies / Seniors / Juniors Championship: HCP 0-9 / Gold Plate HCP 9.1 – 18 / Silver Plate HCP 18.1-28. To register for the tournament, players with accommodation packages at Theodora Golf Club will have priority.
3. Format of the competition: The Championship Division shall be decided over 54 holes Medal Gross
4. There will be a Trophy for the Best Net over 54 holes in the Championship Division.
5. Format of the competition: the plate divisions should be decided over 54 holes net Stableford
6. All competitors shall be eligible to compete in the Championship Division. In the event of applications exceeding the maximum limit, all entries shall be decided by ballot, preference given to lower handicaps, which shall take place immediately after the closing date for entries. All unsuccessful entrants will be informed without delay thereafter.
7. Players in the Championship Division will walk during all stipulated rounds.
8. Medical certificates will be accepted as a reason for using buggies for the seniors.
9. The competitors in the Championship Division who tie for the first place shall play a hole by hole (sudden death) play-off to determine the winner.
10. Any competitor who is not present at their first Tee when called upon to start shall be disqualified.
11. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to set and/or alter starting times.
12. Participants are obliged to use golf balls and driving clubs, that are listed as conforming with the Rules of Golf on the R&A Rules Limited web-site randa.org;
13. A competitor shall not knowingly make use of any drug to enhance his performance. Should a competitor show clinical evidence of use of drug for a non – therapeutic purpose, the Committee may require him to undergo a drug test. Any competitor infringing this condition may be disqualified.
14. Pace of Play condition will apply.
15. The Championship Committee reserves the right to vary the Championship Conditions if it is necessary.
16. Entrants must conform in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by R&A Rules Limited and sign the declaration in the entry form to that effect.
17. Entrants from outside Romania shall provide a HCP certificate issued by the authority under the handicapping system adopted in the country from which he has entered.
18. The Championship Committee reserves the right to disqualify any competitor making a false statement on his entry form.
19. The completed and signed entry form must be received by Theodora Golf Club office not later than Tuesday, 24h of May 2022
20. All disputes must be referred to the Head Referee who will resolve them by use of the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews. If it is not possible to resolve a dispute, the Head Referee will place it before the Championship and Rules Committee and its decision shall be final.

Practice rounds will only be allowed on the official practice days.
